Timing of advice of insufficient funds

Would it be possible to send the email out, that advises of insufficient funds, the day prior to requiring those funds?
I know many will have a handle on the required level of funding but I have clients that don't even look at their account and rely on us to advise the amount they need to pay into Telleroo to ensure payments are made. When they forget to do this, they find themselves with bills unpaid on the day they are supposed to be in other people's accounts - not so much of a fun conversation when it's employee's wages that are potentially late!
Faster payments are all we'll and good but not all banks can cope with this on weekends and bank hols... Could you send the email the previous day or 24 hours earlier?

We have not implemented a consolidated warning email to the approvers the day letting them know if not enough funds to cover upcoming payruns.

Thanks for this Chris G, it makes sense. We can do this as we currently do it when the batch scheduled date is reached, but what you're asking for is 24 hours before. I guess right now when we email it's to late right?
Just to confirm if the batch is created and scheduled in the next 24 hours, we are ok to just send the one email at the point the scheduled date is reached at not enough funds are in the account

Andrew Cookson Exactly that, thank you. For anything scheduled in the next 24 hours, I think it would be good to just send the email immediately. For the most part, I would guess that the people required to fund the account are different to those preparing the file for payment, so an immediate email would bring the lack of funds to the attention of the account holder immediately.
